Dr. Michael Rahman, BSc, ND
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
Dr. Michael Rahman, ND has a practice focused on biological medicine and its treatment of chronic diseases, from fibromyalgia to cancer, and healthy age management. His practice interests also include naturopathic cosmetic care, blending naturopathic medicine with cosmetic approaches and technology that enhance health and beauty.
Dr. Rahman founded Pinewood Natural Health Centre in Toronto in 1997 and expanded his practice into the Durham Region in 2003. Dr. Rahman also founded the Pinewood Institute for the Advancement of Natural Therapies in 2005. He is the principal instructor teaching mesotherapy for pain management, cosmetic mesotherapy, and advanced homotoxicological approaches to disease to naturopathic doctors across Canada and the United States
As an avid lecturer and author, Dr. Rahman has lectured at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine for five years, where he also teaches students. He has written for local public health publications and professional journals. Dr. Rahman has also spoken at healthcare professional conferences throughout Canada and the United States on topics ranging from first aid to homeopathic medicine.
Dr. Michael Rahman, ND completed his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on biology at McMaster University in 1993. He continued his studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed a four-year doctorate program in Toronto in 1996. He is licensed to practice in both Ontario and British Columbia. He is an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the British Columbia Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine, and the International Meso-Lipotherapy Society.
In 2018 Dr. Rahman continued his education completing his Masters of Science (MSc)in Biological Science, a Distinguished Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Science, and a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Science (MBBS). In 2019 he co-authored six research publications in The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) Journal.” Dr. Rahman is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) candidate 2021.
