As the health consequences of eating cell-cultured or lab-grown meats is unknown, it is best for you to choose grass-fed over lab-grown meats. You also might want to consider not eating meat at all, which is a healthier option for most people.
Grass-fed animals are raised in regenerative agriculture, rather than in an agricultural environment, which helps resist soil nutrient depletion. Grazing animals are healthier and support the environment’s natural tendency to heal itself. Lab-grown meat, on the other hand, is made from lifeless GMO-laden soy and wheat fields that smother natural grasslands. Your best bet is to buy meats that are certified grass-fed organic, which means the animal was raised and killed under humane conditions.
